Anthony earned his Master’s Degree in Social Work from Youngstown State University through a partnership program with Lorain County Community College where he also completed his undergraduate degree in social work. Prior to joining the Willow Center, Anthony worked in a group private practice helping children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of presenting concerns including depression, anxiety, anger, family conflict, and trauma or other severe stress. He has also worked in intensive outpatient community-based programs including Mobile Response Stabilization Services (MRSS) and Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) providing crisis intervention and home-based-therapy.
Anthony’s professional background is rooted in trauma-informed approaches, mindfulness, and other evidence-based practices (i.e. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing) and is currently working towards mastery certification in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). He enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults in a way that is compassionate, client-driven, and solution-focused.
