The Willow Center provides counseling and psychiatric care for adults, couples, families, teens and children across Northwest Ohio. Our licensed therapists and psychiatric providers work with you to understand what you are facing and build a plan that fits your life, whether you are managing anxiety or depression, working through a relationship challenge or supporting a child.
Our clinical team is guided by supervisors with more than 100 years of combined experience. We offer evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with psychiatric evaluation and medication management. At The Willow Center, we recognize the value of both in-person and virtual therapy sessions. While online platforms such as BetterHelp and Talkspace offer affordability and accessibility, there is something special about connecting with a local therapist. Our therapists, relationship specialists and members of our psychiatry division are dedicated to serving the needs of people in our community with the belief that our work matters deeply.

We take pride in employing the highest quality clinicians in the area. The Willow Center employs 37 therapists, 5 relationship specialists, a psychiatrist and 4 psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners. Our clinicians are provided ample opportunities for continuing education, collaboration, and consultation. Our specialized services include psychiatry, trauma therapy using EMDR and IFS, couples counseling with use of training through the Gottman Institute, and LGBTQIA concerns. We believe our commitment to professional growth enhances the care we provide, reinforcing our mission to create lasting positive impacts in the lives of individuals, couples, and families in Northwest Ohio.
Expanding Our Reach
Accessible Therapy Across Multiple Locations and Telehealth Options
The Willow Center offers therapy and psychiatry appointments at multiple locations in Toledo, Bowling Green, Findlay and Oregon. The Willow Center has been a trusted part of the Toledo community on Airport Highway for over five years, following the original opening in Maumee in 2016. A second location was added in Bowling Green in 2020. Due to the growing demand and lack of mental health support in the area, The Willow Center opened a third location in Oregon, OH in July of 2024 and the Findlay location in August of 2025. We proudly provide services and support to clients from surrounding cities including Perrysburg, Waterville, Sylvania, Fremont and Northwood. Our clients also travel from as far as Lambertville, Bedford, and Monroe, Michigan, as well as Defiance, Bryan, Fostoria, Findlay and Sandusky. In our commitment to making mental health as accessible as possible, our therapists, specialists and psychiatry team also offer telehealth to clients across the state of Ohio.
