Brooke earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University. She has worked in community mental health agencies as a case manager and in a partial/hospitalization and stabilization residential setting prior to being licensed. She continued in community mental health as a youth and adolescent therapist with experience ranging from early childhood into transitioning adults.
Brooke uses play and client-centered therapy in a strength and resiliency based approach to engage clients at their personal level. She integrates cognitive behavioral therapy with concepts from her training in child-parent psychotherapy to address trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and emotion regulation. She has experience collaborating with parents to better understand and support the needs of the client in and out of sessions, as well as developing healthy relationships, feelings of safety, and security. Brooke’s passion is to guide clients through building resiliency through life’s challenges and empowering client’s to reach their goals.
