Katheryn Palmer, commonly known as Kate, has dedicated nearly her entire adult life to the field of Mental Health. She began her career after earning a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and working as a Psychiatric nurse. Following her initial experience, she pursued a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing and started working as a prescriber around 2013.
Kate’s career includes eight years in community mental health, where she treated adults with various mental illnesses, and a decade specializing in Geriatric Psychiatry. Additionally, she has gained valuable experience in Boston, Massachusetts, serving as a clinical and inpatient provider at a major teaching facility. Despite her extensive experience, Kate’s true passion lies in providing empathetic, client-centered care to those who genuinely seek improvement. She takes pride in forming genuine connections with her patients, which is evident in her practice.
Kate is also proud to serve the Toledo community, where she was born and raised. She currently resides in the Maumee area with her three children and enjoys traveling with her family and best friend, hiking, and spending time with her cat and dog.
