Thomas received his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University. He has worked with clients of all ages, specializing in working with children aged 6-17 in clinical, school and youth camp settings. His experiences include treating anxiety, depression, grief, difficult life adjustments, teaching anger management and separation anxiety.
Thomas’ therapeutic style is influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Counseling while incorporating interactive activities that positively engage children in treatment. He believes that everyone has the ability to improve their own perspectives in how they manage their thoughts, emotions, actions and life satisfaction.
