Expanding Access to Care: The Willow Center Opens New Location in Oregon to Address Mental Health Provider Shortage
The Willow Center offers counseling and therapy services for individuals, couples, & families; teens, children and adults in Oregon, Ohio.
The Willow Center chose Oregon as the home for its third location because Oregon is designated as a Mental Health Professional Shortage Area (MHPSA). This designation indicated that there are not enough mental health providers to meet the community's demand, which can lead to longer wait times for appointments and limited access to care.
As Northwest Ohioans, on a daily basis, we continue to offer our very best counseling and therapy services to the people with whom we share this remarkable corner of Ohio.
The Willow Center has a diverse team of 32 therapists, 5 relationship specialists, 2 psychiatrists, and 1 psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Our team provides therapy and psychiatry services to individuals, couples, and families, including teens, children, and adults. We offer support to clients with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, stress management and relationship difficulties. The Willow Center is committed to the professional growth and development of our clinicians. Many of our providers offer specialized services which include psychiatry, trauma therapy using EMDR and IFS, couples counseling with use of training through the Gottman Institute, and LGBTQIA concerns.

Our Oregon office is located on S. Coy road. We are across the street from Autozone and Harbor Freight Tools, and are right next to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

The Willow Center originally opened in 2016. Our newest office location in Oregon serves the nearby cities of Northwood, Point Place, and Rossford. We also have offices in Bowling Green Ohio and Toledo and serve clients throughout the state of Ohio through our Telehealth counseling services.
